Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser

Pmise QN-03

  • Patented technology of single lamp and dual rods doubles energy output (400mj).
  • Shorter pulse width (6-8ns) than ordinary Q-switched Nd:YAG laser machines.
  • With carbon skin rejuvenation function.
  • High cost-performance.
  • Better results for dermal pigmentations.

Overview

The QN-03 is a professional Q-switched Nd:YAG laser system built for tattoo removal and the treatment of benign pigmented lesions in clinics and aesthetic practices. It delivers light in ultra-short nanosecond pulses at two wavelengths, so a single platform can address both superficial and deeper pigment as well as multi-color tattoo ink. It is professional medical-aesthetic equipment intended for use by trained operators.

The vertical console pairs a large color touch screen with a water-and-air cooled handpiece and adjustable spot sizes, giving operators the control needed to match energy delivery to each indication and skin condition. Buyers evaluating the wider range can compare models across the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser category.

For distributors and clinics building a pigment and tattoo service line, the QN-03 is positioned as a workhorse device with a straightforward workflow. To understand how nanosecond lasers clear ink in practice, see our guide to the Q-switched tattoo removal machine.

How It Works

The QN-03 works on the principle of selective photothermolysis, the framework first described by Anderson and Parrish in 1983. The laser emits a specific wavelength as a very short, high peak-energy pulse. Because the pulse lasts only nanoseconds, the light is absorbed by pigment particles faster than the surrounding tissue can conduct the heat away, which concentrates the effect on the target and helps spare nearby skin.

When the pigment absorbs this rapid burst of energy, the particles are shattered into much smaller fragments. Some fragments are expelled from the surface, while the rest are broken down into tiny particles that the body's phagocytes engulf and the lymphatic system gradually clears over the following weeks.

The two wavelengths cover different jobs. The longer 1064 nm wavelength penetrates more deeply, which suits darker inks and dermal pigmentation, while the 532 nm output is absorbed more strongly at the surface and by red and warmer-colored inks. The short pulse width is designed to maximize the mechanical shattering effect on pigment while limiting unwanted thermal spread to the skin. Adjustable spot sizes let the operator tune coverage and intensity for the area and depth being treated.

Applications

The QN-03 is suited to a range of pigment and tattoo indications commonly seen in clinics. Treatment plans, suitability and settings are decided by the trained operator based on the individual client.

  • Tattoo removal across common ink colors including black, blue, brown and red
  • Cosmetic tattoo work such as tattooed eyeliner and eyebrow pigment
  • Benign pigmented lesions including sunspots, age spots, freckles and certain nevi
  • Dermal pigmentation that responds better to a deeper-penetrating wavelength
  • Laser facial and skin-rejuvenation routines, including carbon-assisted rejuvenation

It fits clinics, medical spas and distributors that want one platform to serve both tattoo removal and everyday pigment work.

Key Advantages

  • Dual-wavelength versatility: 1064 nm and 532 nm output from one device covers deep and superficial pigment plus multi-color ink.
  • Short nanosecond pulse: a very short pulse width favors photomechanical shattering of pigment while helping to reduce thermal injury to surrounding skin.
  • Water and air cooling: combined cooling supports stable operation through longer treatment sessions.
  • Adjustable spot sizes: a range of selectable spot diameters lets operators tailor coverage and energy density per indication.
  • Practical workflow: a large touch-screen interface, IC-card function, water-level monitoring and a malfunction self-check make day-to-day use and upkeep straightforward.
  • Added rejuvenation mode: a carbon skin-rejuvenation function broadens the treatment menu on a single console.

FAQ

What can the QN-03 treat?

It is designed for tattoo removal across common ink colors and for benign pigmented lesions such as sunspots, age spots and freckles, along with cosmetic tattoo and laser facial routines. It is professional equipment, so the operator confirms whether a given lesion or tattoo is a suitable target before treatment and sets parameters accordingly.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Q-switched Nd:YAG lasers are used across a broad range of skin tones, and the 1064 nm wavelength is often favored for darker skin because it targets pigment while being less absorbed by surface melanin. Suitability still depends on the individual, so a trained operator should assess skin type and perform a test spot before a full session.

How many sessions are needed?

Pigment and tattoo clearance is gradual because the body removes the shattered particles through the lymphatic system over time. Multiple sessions spaced several weeks apart are typical, and the exact number varies with ink depth, color, lesion type and the individual response. The operator sets realistic expectations during consultation.

What training and support come with it?

The QN-03 is professional equipment that should be operated by trained staff following proper eye protection and safety protocols. Pmise provides operating documentation and distributor support; specific warranty terms and training arrangements are confirmed at the time of purchase for your market.
