The tattoo is caused by various colorant made or trauma.
Clinical feature
1. Visible colors.
2. Obvious edge.
3. The color will be faded as time goes by.
4. The color will be faded as time goes by.
Histopathology
The pigmented granular locates in the different layers of the epidermis and dermis, usually appear in the connective tissue around dermis vessels, and tattoo can lead to granuloma and keloid.
Method of treatment
1.Q-switched ND: YAG laser 694nm or 755nm can remove green, blue and black pigmentations, and can concentrate energy on epidermis and dermis.
2.Q-switched ND: YAG laser 1064nm treats deeper tattoo for great effect, in addition, the pigmentations selectively absorb the light, and therefore, black, and blue, brown, and gray can be eliminated no matter in epidermis or dermis.
3.Q-switched ND: YAG laser 532nm can remove red pigmentation or the shallow skin pigmentations.
