EO Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser

Pmise QE-01

  • Dual wavelengths (1064nm & 532nm) are convenient to adjust by touching LCD.
  • Multi-spot size (1-7mm) is ideal for a wide variety of treatment parameters.
  • Korean seven-joint arm assures uniform spot size and low energy loss
  • The Q-switched Nd:YAG laser(single pulse 800mj) radiates the light with a specific wavelength in high peak energy pulses, hence the light penetrates into the tissue only for a nanosecond.

Overview

The QE-01 is an EO Q-switched Nd:YAG laser built for professional clinics and distributors that need a dependable pigment and tattoo platform. It belongs to our EO Q-Switched Nd:YAG Laser line and is used mainly for tattoo removal and benign pigmented lesions such as sunspots, age spots and nevus of Ota. It delivers two clinically established wavelengths, 1064nm and 532nm, so one machine can address dark pigment sitting deeper in the skin and red or shallow pigment near the surface.

The electro-optic (EO) Q-switch is the core of the design. It produces very short, high peak-energy pulses in the nanosecond range, which lets the light hit pigment hard and fast rather than heating the surrounding tissue. Buyers weighing an EO switch against an older build can read our EO Q-switched vs standard Nd:YAG comparison, and clinics focused on ink removal can review our tattoo removal solution for typical workflow.

The QE-01 is professional equipment intended for trained operators who follow a proper consultation, patient assessment and consent process. It is not a home or consumer device, and all clinical settings should be chosen by qualified staff.

How It Works

The QE-01 works on the principle of selective photothermolysis, the mechanism first described by Anderson and Parrish in 1983. Pigment and tattoo ink absorb laser light far more strongly than the surrounding skin. When the energy arrives in an extremely short pulse, the absorbed light heats the target so quickly that it fragments before the heat can spread to neighbouring tissue, which keeps the treatment focused on the pigment rather than the skin around it.

Because the pulse is measured in nanoseconds, the effect is largely photoacoustic. The pigment particles shatter into much smaller fragments. Some are pushed out of the skin surface, while the rest are broken down small enough for the body's phagocytes to engulf them so the lymphatic system can gradually clear them over the weeks after treatment. This is why pigment and tattoo work is done as a course of spaced sessions rather than a single visit.

The two wavelengths give the operator range. The 1064nm output penetrates deeper and suits dark inks and blue, black and green-blue pigment, while the 532nm output is absorbed strongly by red and shallow pigment. A combined water and air cooling system and a multi-joint articulated arm keep energy delivery uniform through a long working day.

Applications

The QE-01 suits clinics, medical spas and distributors serving practitioners who want one EO Q-switched platform for pigment and ink removal. Typical applications include:

  • Tattoo removal across common ink colours, handled by wavelength according to the pigment
  • Benign pigmented lesions such as sunspots, age spots, freckles and cafe-au-lait macules (CALMs)
  • Dermal pigment such as nevus of Ota and zygomatic pigmentation, treated by trained staff
  • Tattoo removal programmes that need both a deep and a shallow wavelength in one device
  • Laser toning and general skin-tone work within a professional treatment plan

Suitability, wavelength choice, session count and settings always depend on the individual case, the skin type and the pigment, and must be judged by a qualified operator during consultation. For help matching a configuration to your case mix, our team is available through contact.

Key Advantages

  • Two clinically established wavelengths in one machine, so deep dark pigment and shallow red pigment can both be addressed
  • Electro-optic Q-switch that delivers short, high peak-energy nanosecond pulses for focused pigment fragmentation
  • Adjustable spot size so operators can tailor the beam to different lesions and skin conditions
  • Multi-joint articulated arm that helps keep spot size uniform and reduces energy loss along the delivery path
  • Combined water and air cooling that supports long, back-to-back sessions in a busy clinic
  • Touch-screen operating interface that shortens staff training time
  • Backed by clinical training and after-sales support for clinic and distributor partners

FAQ

What is the QE-01 used for?

It is an EO Q-switched Nd:YAG laser used mainly for tattoo removal and benign pigmented lesions such as sunspots, age spots, freckles, cafe-au-lait macules and nevus of Ota. The 1064nm wavelength handles deeper and darker pigment while 532nm targets red and shallow pigment. A qualified operator should confirm during consultation that a given case is appropriate, since suitability and results vary between individuals.

Which skin types can it treat?

Parameter and wavelength selection depend on the patient's skin type. In practice, lighter skin can often be treated with the shorter wavelength at a small spot size, while the deeper 1064nm wavelength is generally preferred for darker skin because it is less absorbed by surface melanin. A test spot before a full session is a sensible precaution, and settings must always be chosen by trained staff.

How many sessions are needed?

Tattoo and pigment removal work as a course of spaced sessions rather than a single visit, because the body clears the fragmented pigment gradually through the lymphatic system. The number depends on the ink or pigment, its depth and the individual patient, so no fixed count fits every case. The treating clinician should set a realistic plan during consultation.

Is it safe, and are training and warranty included?

The QE-01 is professional equipment for trained operators, and treatment carries contraindications, for example pregnancy, pacemakers and active skin lesions in the treatment area, which staff must screen for. We provide clinical and operational training for clinic and distributor partners and back the platform with a standard warranty and after-sales support.
