Overview

The PE-01 is an HPT E-light machine built for professional skin clinics and medical aesthetic distributors. It combines filtered intense pulsed light (IPL) with bipolar radio frequency (RF) in a single handpiece, so one platform covers hair reduction, pigment and vascular concerns, and general skin rejuvenation. How It Works

E-light works by pairing two energy types that reinforce each other. The IPL side delivers a broad band of filtered light that is preferentially absorbed by melanin in hair and pigmented lesions and by hemoglobin in small blood vessels. That absorbed light converts to heat inside the target while sparing surrounding tissue, the principle of selective photothermolysis first described by Anderson and Parrish in 1983.

The bipolar RF component adds controlled heat to the deeper dermis. Because pre-heating a target with light lowers its electrical resistance, the RF energy tends to concentrate where it is needed, which can allow effective treatment at gentler light levels. This is what makes the E-light approach useful across a wider range of skin tones than light alone.
